The Sarn Inn
The Pub ('Public House') is a very important feature of community life in Britain.
In Sarn the pub was the original Social Centre for the local population and gave its name to the village. The Baptist Chapel (since 1827) and the Parish Church (since 1860) have added to the public facilities and in the C20th a Village Hall managed by a Recreational Association has provided and supported a wide variety of social and educational activities for local inhabitants. As other sections of this site show - the present Village Hall is a new building and one that is in constant use by local groups.
The Sarn Inn remains a very important element of village life, able to offer food and entertainment to anyone in or passing through the village. An ancient service - found in various forms everywhere in the World - and now, after years of decline, the pub is rejuvenated in the village that the Sarn Inn itself helped create.
Once again there is 'Music'

As the daytime dining room is transformed in the evening to a concert and venue
